New York based artist Mary Heilmann is one of the most influential American abstract painters of her time. Heilmann’s work has been exhibited throughout the world in museums such as The Whitney, Dia Beacon, and MoMA. This documentary offers a visually immersive journey through her life, using rare archival material and in-studio footage to explore the artist’s mind and practice.
