TRIPOLAR THE MOVIE is a biting satire disguised as a stoner comedy set in the heart of Brooklyn. Rife with John Waters-style humor, the story follows a washed-up 50-something mother and her daughter’s 20-something friends who are willing to do anything to make a film. But when a movie exec greenlights their project, they begin to conspire against one another in a parody of life in modern America.
As Hunter S. Thompson said: “When the going gets weird, the weird turn professional.”
