The Guyver | The Surreal Nightmares of Screaming Mad George

Screen Slate Presents
Psycho-Fiction: The Surreal Nightmares of Screaming Mad George

Screaming Mad George’s sole directorial feature is a tokusatsu film about a guy who finds an alien suit that turns him into a superpowered cyber-bug. This puts him on a collision course against a shadowy mega-corp called Chronos and a slimy, reptilian race known as the Zoanoids, who get mad and kidnap his girlfriend. With the help of rogue CIA agent Mark Hamill, it’s up to The Guyver to rescue the girl, take down the man, and save the planet. Co-directed with adrenaline junkie Steve Wang (1997’s Drive), The Guyver is a fantastic showcase for SMG’s icky creature effects.

Preceded by a special short film!
