Human electricity, immortalized on celluloid—The White Stripes at their most feral and alive. Shot on grainy, electric Super 8 by director Dick Carruthers at the Empress Ballroom in January 2004, Under Blackpool Lights captures Jack and Meg at the peak of their powers, igniting the stage with adrenaline-soaked blues and blistering covers of icons ranging from Son House to Dolly Parton to Bob Dylan.
