Bride of Re-Animator | The Surreal Nightmares of Screaming Mad George

Screen Slate Presents
Psycho-Fiction: The Surreal Nightmares of Screaming Mad George

The original Re-Animator adapted Frankenstein-by-way-of-Lovecraft into a bloodsoaked med school nightmare. And like any great sequel, Bride of Re-Animator goes bigger, zanier, and gorier, with moments that represent the zenith of practical effects work. Reuniting stars Jeffrey Combs as Dr. Herbert West and Bruce Abbott as former medical student Dr. Dan Cain, Bride sees the duo expand their experiments to re-animating individual severed limbs. Their goal: to resurrect Cain’s fiance by cobbling pieces of other women around her preserved heart. And from there, the creations only get crazier. Bride of Re-Animator is an extraordinary follow-up to Brian Yuzna and Screaming Mad George’s previous collaboration Society with an all-star special effects team also includes John Carl Buechler and the KNB EFX Group.
