David Cronenberg Retrospective at Roxy Cinema New York
Roxy Cinema New York presents a David Cronenberg retrospective on 35mm in celebration of his new film, Crimes of the Future, starring Viggo Mortensen, Lea Seydoux, and Kristen Stewart, that debuts at the Cannes Film Festival this year and will compete for the Palme D’or.
Join us as we revisit one of contemporary pop cinema’s most complex and grotesque bodies of work beginning Wednesday, May 18th at 7:00 PM with the 2002 thriller, Spider.
We’ll cover Cronenberg classics Naked Lunch, Dead Ringers, The Fly, and The Dead Zone, plus recent, ambitious achievements including Spider, Eastern Promises, A Dangerous Method, and Cosmopolis.
