In anticipation of their upcoming album, Melodie (out September 18th) Slow Pulp presents a special 35MM print of David Lynch’s The Straight Story (1999). After the screening, the band will join us for a Q&A about the film and their upcoming album, moderated by @marg.mp3!

“When choosing a film for The Roxy we knew we wanted to highlight a film that has roots in our home state of Wisconsin. For us, the straight story evokes a certain nostalgia for what it felt like growing up in the Midwest that other films don’t quite touch on in the same way.
