A post-film discussion between poet/activist Robert Galinsky and author Bonz Malone following a screening of the new restoration of 1998 feature, Slam.

Bonz Malone is a NYC graffiti writer who became a music and culture journalist for SPIN, The Source & Vibe magazine.
Robert Galinsky is a downtown New York poet and youth prison activist who teaches poetry and presentation at the Juilliard School of Art, Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison, Rikers Island Jail, and at over one dozen jails and prisons throughout NY. He directs, produces and performs Off Broadway and has co-authored and coached over 50 TEDx Talks. His newest one person show “Everything in New York Goes BANG!” will have a free encore performance, on Friday May 17th 6pm, at the Jefferson Market Library (625 6th Ave, NYC.)
